Uncle Bro joins the roster
French Touch and Lo-fi, from Burgun'd.
Pishkey Music today announced an expansion of its existing corporate partnership with Uncle Bro, officially adding the producer, DJ, and modern-day philosopher-king to its terrestrial streaming roster. Uncle Bro brings a French Touch and Lo-fi sound rooted in Burgun'd—a conceptual, interstellar commercial district born from a joint venture between the two moguls, heavily inspired by Uncle Bro's legendary "Oui Oui Oui" ristoclub franchise.
"Uncle Bro and I were already generating excellent ROI through his 'Oui Oui Oui' operations," said George Pishkey, founder and self-appointed architect of Pishkey Music. "He’s a guy who talks about surviving the Kessel Run and witnessing C-beams glittering near the Tannhäuser Gate, all while pairing high-level metaphysics with a very reasonably priced glass of wine. When we collaborated to develop Burgun'd into our new commercial zone, securing the exclusive terrestrial streaming rights for his audio output was a no-brainer. The overhead on intergalactic distribution is surprisingly low, and the Earth-based market is incredibly ripe for monetization."
Uncle Bro second the latest resident of Pishkeyland — a label built on the idea that every artist deserves not just a sound, but a world of their own.
