Pishkey Music Celebrates One Year
Twelve months after Pame Paralia opened the catalog.
One year ago today, on July 28, 2025, Kosta Meltemy's "Pame Paralia (Let's Go to the Beach)" landed on Spotify and every other major streaming platform, officially marking the birth of Pishkey Music, the sonic division of Pishkey Entertainment. Twelve months later, the catalog has grown from a single sun-soaked single into a full portfolio of worlds, artists, and gift-shop tie-ins — and today, Pishkey Music is celebrating a year of results.
The milestones: the catalog has now surpassed 360,000 streams on Spotify — more than 1,000 a day, every single day of the year — reaching over 70,000 unique listeners and landing on more than 15,000 playlists.
"These numbers irrefutably prove the success of this division," said George Pishkey, founder of Pishkey Music and Pishkeyland. "They fully justify the substantial financial effort we've put into sustaining this project — the cabana budgets, the signature perfume lines, the exclusive resort real estate we've had to conceptually construct around every artist in the catalog. I don't think anyone can argue with math like this. One year in, and Pishkey Music isn't just a division anymore. It's a business case."
