Out now: Perfect Silence at the Stars
Lo-fi French Touch on Walt Whitman's poem about gazing at the night sky.
Trading tavern chants for cosmic contemplation, Uncle Bro returns to the Burgun'd catalog with "Perfect Silence at the Stars". This Lo-fi French Touch track adapts Walt Whitman's poem about fleeing the measured charts of a learned astronomer to simply gaze at the night sky, offering a slow-burning beat for the introspective night owl.
"Whitman's rejection of quantifiable data in favor of unmeasured stargazing is exactly the kind of anti-intellectual escapism our audience will gladly pay a monthly fee to experience," said George Pishkey, founder of Pishkey Music. "We also encourage all visitors to complete their journey of introspection with an official Uncle Bro branded telescope, available exclusively at our gift shop. After all, enlightenment is priceless. The telescope, however, is €199.99."
